Raised in Amersfoort (the Netherlands) in late 2006, Funeral Whore was formed to bring you old fashion death metal, as it was done in the early 90ties.

Originally founded my Roy Grimreaper and Kellie Chopper, the band released its debute album Step into Damnation in late 2012 throughout Chaos Records Mexico.

It was received very well and was followed by a small tour in Mexico a year later. Many gigs were played, especially outside the Netherlands

After several split releases, Funeral Whore released its 2nd full length on the German FDA Records. Again, numerous concerts were done on bigger events than before, together with bands like Master, Brujeria, Terrorizer, Entombed and many more.

After countless major lineup changes, leaving Roy Grimreaper as the only original bandmember in the formation, the band went through stormy periods of time.

But still, they overcame all trouble and stands firmly in the underground scene, releasing its 3rd album after a long couple of 5 years.

Here is no place for any mainstream action but just the old bold angry raw old school death metal in Swedish and Finnish flavours...
